To create balance in her life, Mary enjoys cycling, hiking, camping, and traveling with her two children and spouse. She also loves to spend time gardening with her two gray tabbies and on sunny days can be found reading in her favorite hammock chair .
Mary's work is inspired by the Japanese word “Enso”, a manifestation of one or two brush strokes forming a Zen circle, expressing a moment when the mind is free to let the body create, allowing the individual to contemplate enlightenment. To this end, much of Mary’s technique is performed in a gentle, rhythmic, circular fashion allowing the client to deeply relax and find a quite inner space for reflection and self-healing.
